The TIN request process is simple and fast. Follow these steps to obtain your transit identification number.

Step 1: Choose Your Type
Select whether you are an individual (private person) or a company (business, organization).
Important: The type chosen will determine the documents to provide

Step 2: Fill in Your Information
Enter your personal information or your company's information.
Name, first names, phone, email (for individual) or company name, IFU (for company)

Step 3: BL Information
Provide your Bill of Lading number.
The BL number consists of 4 letters followed by digits (ex: MSKU1234567)

Step 4: Identity Documents
Upload the required supporting documents.
CNIB, Passport for individual - RCCM, IFU for company

Step 5: Validation
Review all your information before submitting your request.
You will receive a reference number to track your request

Enter your BL number and reference number for a secure search
- Generated TIN Number
- Owner Name
- Request Status (validated, pending, rejected)
- Available Actions (PDF download if validated)

The TIN (Transit Identification Number) is a unique identification number for goods transit in Burkina Faso. It is mandatory for all customs clearance operations.
The processing time is generally 2 to 24 hours after submitting your complete request with all required documents.
For an individual: CNIB or Passport + Bill of Lading. For a company: RCCM, IFU + Bill of Lading.
No, the TIN request and issuance are completely free. Beware of anyone asking you for money for this service.
No, once submitted, the request cannot be modified. If you notice an error, you must submit a new request.

Yes, the TIN is valid for a limited period related to the validity of the associated Bill of Lading. Check the expiration date on your TIN document.
Once your request is validated, use the search function with your reference number. A 'Download PDF' button will appear if your TIN is ready.
